Co-literate new (1).png

We're a dedicated team of creators, explorers, and facilitators who care deeply about how people make meaning and stay connected in a fluxating and demanding world.

We hold space with care and clarity. We listen to let people feel grounded, seen, and safe. And we love creating conditions where our literacies emerge and come together in new ways.

Josie

she/her

Josephine, aka Josie, is passionate about unlocking access to resources and opportunities that promote a sense of purpose, wellbeing, and collective leadership in lifelong learning.

With a palette of experiences in anthropological research, project design, writing, and community engagement, she founded our initiative to challenge existing beliefs and give young people a platform to share their perspectives.

Josie's love for learning and exploring new places and ideas fuels her dedication to creating a collaborative environment where young people can co-design better health and wellbeing initiatives with their networks.

Genaro

he/him/they

Genaro is our Galician wayfinder, carrying the soul of the land wherever he goes.

With a blend of flair for facilitation and practicality, along with his empathy, emotional depth, and poetic curiosity, he makes people feel safe enough to be honest, brave enough to reflect, and open enough to connect.

Working with Genaro means entering into dialogue - with yourself, with others, and with the land beneath your feet.

Miriam

they/them

Miriam is specialised in normcritical thinking and minority experiences and has an educational background in philosophy.

Miriam is our go-to person for resources on topics such as LGBTQ+ or DEI knowledge and guidance.

Keeping an eye on almost everything, Miriam has been keeping track of the communication and coordination of past projects, ensuring our literacy labs and retreats were running smoothly and safely.

Maja's core belief is that meaningful change begins with listening; she is passionate about creating spaces where young people can share their experiences, ideas, and concerns openly.
